Responsibilities

Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in senior editorial roles at a major national publication
- A deep portfolio of editing work that has shaped public discourse or won major industry accolades
- Proven ability to edit high-profile writers, columnists and public intellectuals with sensitivity and authority
- Proven talent for transforming complex ideas into compelling, accessible, and urgent narratives
- Sophisticated understanding of the digital media landscape and the evolving nature of opinion journalism
- A robust network within the literary, academic and journalistic communities
- Experience managing cross-functional teams

- The annual base pay range for this role is between:
- $160,000 - $180,000 USD
