Job Details: $17.45 per hour plus a $1.00 Shift Premium Job Description This position is responsible for picking up birds off a conveyor belt and hanging them on shackles as they pass by. The birds are dumped onto a hanging conveyor at waist height and the shackles pass by at shoulder height approximately 16" from the Rehanger. The Rehanger grasps the birds and hangs them on the shackles at a rate of 27 birds per minute at shoulder height. Any birds that will not hang are thrown into a tub to be packed out as undergrade. This position requires standing for 8 hours. The temperature is 45 to 50 degrees. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history. This facility will not accept applicants that have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times. This facility accepts rehires after 365 days.
