Responsibilities

  • Salesforce & Education Cloud Solution Development: Design, implement, and deploy Salesforce solutions, including Salesforce Education Cloud , using core platform capabilities such as Service Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and configuration.
  • Customisation & Configuration: Extend Salesforce through Apex, triggers, flows, workflows, approval processes, and custom UI components to meet business needs.

  • Collaboration & Delivery: Work with product managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-designed, production-ready Salesforce solutions.
  • Quality & Reliability: Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to stable, secure, high-availability releases.
  • Best Practices & Continuous Improvement : Apply Salesforce best practices for security, performance, and maintainability, and continuously improve platform quality and engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Hands-On Engineering Mindset: Enjoys working directly with Salesforce platforms and solving real business problems
  • Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, integrations, and APIs
  • Agile & Iterative Approach: Comfortable delivering in evolving environments with continuous validation and improvement
  • Collaboration: Works effectively with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders
  • Quality Focus: Cares about reliability, maintainability, and clean design
  • Growth Orientation: Keen to deepen Salesforce expertise, including Education Cloud capabilities
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience supporting production systems
  • Strong experience with core Salesforce platforms (e.g. Service Cloud), Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and configuration
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and APIs
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Salesforce Platform Developer certification
  • Preferred
  • Experience implementing or extending Salesforce Education Cloud
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, data migration, and third-party systems
  • Exposure to mission-critical or government-scale platforms
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g. Platform Developer II, Service Cloud, Integration Architecture Designer) are a plus
