About the role
Main Responsibilities Procurement & Procure‑to‑Pay Management Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities for Capital, Spares, and Services. Execute and manage Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes including delivery follow‑up, budgeting support, cash flow management, and invoice reconciliation. Ensure on‑time delivery (OTD) to support network capacity and operational requirements. Cost Optimization & Value Creation Identify and implement supplier‑related cost‑saving opportunities using data analytics and should‑cost models. Serve as a subject matter expert, sharing supplier and market insights with cross‑functional stakeholders. Support initiatives focused on total cost of ownership reduction, lead time improvement, and cash flow optimization. Contracting & Negotiation Lead or participate in supplier negotiations for sustaining purchases, contract renewals, and extensions. Coordinate with Category Supplier Managers on global negotiations or lead local/regional RFQ and sourcing events. Develop and execute contract strategies; create, negotiate, monitor, and enforce contractual terms and conditions. Supplier Performance Management Partner with Category teams to build a comprehensive, data‑driven view of supplier performance. Communicate site‑specific priorities and expectations to suppliers. Collaborate internally to define key performance metrics and monitor supplier performance to drive continuous improvement. AI‑Enabled Continuous Improvement Lead or contribute to automation and AI‑enabled initiatives that improve process efficiency, productivity, and operational excellence. Drive simplification and standardization of procurement and supplier management processes. Other Responsibilities Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and governance requirements. Provide input and recommendations to leadership on procurement strategies, processes, and policy improvements. Actively participate in cross‑functional teams and global projects involving Procurement, Engineering, Planning, Finance, and Legal. Candidate Profile / Job Requirements Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in: Engineering Supply Chain Management Or a related field of study Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Procurement / Purchasing Supply Chain Engineering Must‑Have Technical Skills Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and supplier management processes. Experience managing contracts, negotiations, and commercial terms. Data‑driven cost analysis and should‑cost modeling experience. Familiarity with Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes and financial controls. Must‑Have Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Effective communication and stakeholder influencing skills in a matrix organization. Ability to lead initiatives and drive outcomes without direct authority. Strong collaboration and relationship‑management capabilities. Ability to work independently and within global, cross‑functional teams. Strong written communication and storytelling skills, with experience preparing executive summaries and clear, concise reports for senior stakeholders.
