This includes defining the canonical data model (IDs, classifications, instrument terms, listings/venues, issuer links, and lifecycle states), and ensuring it supports Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives .
Responsibilities
- Design and Maintain the Security Master :
- Develop and oversee a unified security master database that accurately captures all required attributes for each security, ensuring it serves as the single source of truth for the organization.
- Data Quality and Integrity :
- Implement robust data governance practices, including validation, auditing, and reconciliation processes, to maintain high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Corporate Actions Integration:
- Ensure all relevant corporate actions (such as mergers, splits, and dividends) are promptly and accurately reflected in the security master, supporting downstream processes and products.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Work closely with index calculation, and client support teams to align the security master with business needs and facilitate seamless data flow across the organization.
Requirements
- P rofessional foundation in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience of programming with Python
- Knowledge of ETL processes such as Power Automate
