Position Summary The primary function of this position is to operate Atom Probe Tomography (APT) instrumentation to support advanced semiconductor processes and tool qualifications and provide root cause analysis for manufacturing support. This includes collaborating closely with Fab Engineering and Process Integration groups to understand customer analysis needs and provide root cause analysis with data interpretation and improving/developing analysis techniques to meet needs of our customers on cutting edge technologies. Role and Responsibilities Here's What You'll Be Responsible For: Responsible for daily APT operation including data acquisition, data analysis and sample preparation. Closely work within analysis teams for correlative analysis with APT, TEM, and SIMS. Collaborate with Fab Engineering and Process Integration groups to provide analysis solutions. Able to recognize analysis improvement opportunities and lead projects in terms of quality, improving efficiency and adding new capabilities
