Transport Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules, routes, and vehicle allocations.
• Monitor and optimize fleet utilization, delivery performance, and operational productivity.
• Supervise drivers and transport coordinators to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Utilize Transport Management Systems (TMS) for job planning, dispatching, tracking, and reporting.
• Ensure timely updates of delivery status and operational records.
• Investigate and resolve delivery issues, service disruptions, and customer escalations.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Prepare operational reports and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with warehouse, customer service, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of deliveries.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transport, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Experience in transport planning, fleet management, and driver supervision.
• Proficient in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Information

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Transport Supervisor to oversee daily transport operations, including middle-mile and domestic deliveries. The successful candidate will be responsible for transport planning (TMS/Oracle Transport Management system), fleet utilization, driver management, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery services while meeting operational KPIs and customer requirements.
