Your main task will be supporting our consultants with fast and precise typing and record creation which is so important to the smooth running of patient management. You will be expected to multi-task across a range of secretarial duties; offer good judgement in escalating issues, prioritising jobs, highly accurate audio typing, as these tasks all play an important part of your role. What you will bring with you: Maths/English to GCSE level or equivalent Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience of multi-tasking and working to strict deadlines High attention to detail Proven organisational and communication skills at all levels, both written and oral. Self-motivated and possess strong organisational, interpersonal and above all customer service skills. Audio typing experience (desirable not essential) Background knowledge or experience with medical terminology (desirable not essential) Where you will be based: The Yorkshire Clinic is one of West Yorkshire's leading private hospitals set in three acres of woodland in the grounds of Cottingley Hall near Bingley. The hospital opened in 1982 and currently has 57 bedrooms including one twin-bedded room all with en-suite facilities. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The four fully equipped theatres, all with ultra clean air technology, are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures, such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement. Treatments at the clinic include knee cartilage surgery, knee arthroscopy, knee ligament surgery, cataract surgery and shoulder muscle repair. There is also one theatre especially suitable for minor local anaesthetic procedures. What is a Bank Contract: A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead, you work on an ad-hoc basis, filling in shifts that we have available in our hospitals. A Bank contract is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility, as it allows you to choose shifts that fit your availability, leaving you with a greater work-life balance. Bank contracts are also a fantastic way to secure additional income alongside other contracted work.
