Steel Fabrication Technician - Architectural Metals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in metal fabrication, particularly involving miscellaneous metals, rail systems, or similar fabricated products
• Proficiency with FCAW welding processes; welding certifications are considered an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication documents
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Effective organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a production-focused environment
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in an industrial setting

Miscellaneous Metals Fabricator Location: Richmond, VA Shift: First Shift | Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM Pay Rate: Starts at $22.00/Hour and may be higher depending on experience. Occasional Saturday overtime may be required Role Overview This position is responsible for fabricating and assembling a variety of metal components such as rail systems, stair assemblies, ladders, and other miscellaneous steel items. The role requires strong blueprint comprehension, hands-on fabrication ability, and the flexibility to work efficiently in a production-oriented environment with changing priorities.
