Ambulatory Anesthesia Care has helped create a safe, effective, and financially viable office-based anesthesia model that's been replicated across the country. We're proud to be growing our office-based anesthesia roots in Austin, TX, and we're looking for skilled, compassionate pre/intra/post-op Perianesthesia RNs to join our team supporting pediatric dental procedures in our Austin office-based facilities, 2-3 days per week . If you love working alongside a tight-knit anesthesia and surgical team, have a gentle touch with young patients, and take pride in setting the standard for safe, quality care - this role is for you! Our cases are office-based pediatric dental procedures on healthy children, performed during standard business hours, Monday through Friday - no evenings, Sundays, or holidays. Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish-speaking, are highly encouraged to apply. What you'll do The Perianesthesia nurse is responsible for the pre-operative assessment and care of each pediatric patient, along with intra-operative and post-operative/recovery care. Additional responsibilities include maintaining pharmacy and supplies, safely handling all equipment, and participating in quality and performance improvement activities. From time to time, you may help complete pre-operative patient assessments through our secure patient portal.
