Responsibilities
- Safely operates PIV equipment, (forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers) to load, unload, sort, stack, and stage product
- Locates and picks material into/out of warehouse racks and between locations
- Ensure that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition
- Work with local and regional freight companies
- Stock and arrange product to ensure inventory accuracy
- Enters inventory into software system
- Ensure accuracy of part number, quantity, and other data field entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, and location. Resolves discrepancies as necessary
- Ensures that pallets are stable, have appropriate height, and are free of damage
- Prioritizes the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to meet customer needs
- Performs training, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned
- Previous experience with consolidation is highly preferred
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED not required
- Some warehouse and forklift experience preferred
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must have valid driver's license
