WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON Key goal Manage and grow the art department spread across several projects with different identities and requirements. By defining the team training and development strategy, evaluating performances, creating a common vision and quality standards across teams, and participating in the recruitment activities. What it means on a daily basis 1. People management Identify people's abilities and weaknesses and assign the proper resources to the projects based on its needs and requirements Prepare training and sharing plans within the department Handle artists' performance evaluations and objective settings Handle new artist resources recruitment 2. Process improvements Harmonize the processes in the studio, leaving flexibility to respect each project pipeline but helping faster onboarding and Gameloft-specific rules understanding Update studio-wide documentations (PRD, career paths, onboarding...) Support individual projects to optimize their art flow and pipelines Represent the studio internally and externally as the primary Art contact for Gameloft Hanoi 3. Artistic vision Conceptualize and execute creative ideas Develop compelling visuals Contribute to the overall artistic direction of the studio's projects Provide clear and detailed feedback to all artists requiring it, both on visual quality (LOD, coloring, polishing, composition...) and technical quality (perspective, tangency, PSD layering...) WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED 5+ years in game art production with solid leadership experience across multiple projects and experience delivering high-quality visuals. Well-rounded foundation in art composition, graphic design, and solid knowledge of 2D/3D pipelines and production workflows. Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and scale art teams, define artistic vision and quality standards, and align with game market trends. Good communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to balance creative vision and technical constraints. Good at English skills
