Job Summary: The Director leads the Pathway DC and Cash Balance solutions, overseeing implementation, service delivery, and ongoing client engagement to ensure high-quality execution. This role manages the Implementation and Service Teams, coordinates lead flow from the Institutional Growth Team to support team capacity and workflow efficiency, and builds strong relationships with wealth advisors, recordkeepers, TPAs, and external vendors. The Director also identifies opportunities to strengthen the offering, improve efficiency, and rapidly scale the business to support future growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Significant experience with 401(k) and Cash Balance plan design, implementation, and oversight. Manage the referral workflow and transition efforts from the Institutional Growth Team into the appropriate solution by maintaining project timelines and efficient process for timely new plan conversions Serves as the primary contact for external vendors related to Pathway DC and Cash Balance solutions Strives to exceed client and advisor expectations throughout the sales, onboarding, and ongoing fiduciary support Assists in consultation efforts with current Institutional and Wealth advisors on transitioning appropriate clients to the Pathway DC solution Maintains a current understanding, and compliance with, Mariner policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: 10+ years of relevant professional experience Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University Preferred Education and Experience: Potential certification, designation, or membership in industry specific organization, preferably the CPFA or QPFC designations Prior experience working for a recordkeeper or TPA is a plus
