Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the Housekeeping team to provide exceptional guest service, colleague satisfaction, and profitability

- Promote and ensure a clean and SAFE working environment, with continual emphasis on promoting employee health and safety
- Actively participate on hotel committees and ensure strong departmental representation on all hotel committees and activities
- Key involvement in the Hotel's preventative maintenance programs
- Foster an environment of open communication and creative problem solving
- Assist Director of Housekeeping in the administration and management of the entire Housekeeping operation including payroll, scheduling, uniform and linen inventory control, lost and found, etc - Daily monitoring of labor, expenses and assist in the preparation of monthly commentaries
- General office procedures including: new employee interviews, scheduling and performance reviews in conjunction with Director of Housekeeping
- Assist in the co-ordination of and actively participate in staff meetings
- Operation of department in the absence of the Director of Housekeeping
- Your experience and skills include:
- Bachelor's degree and/or Hotel Management degree an asset
- Experience in resort leadership operations is desired
- Computer literacy in Microsoft programs (Outlook, teams. ppt) and a high level competency with administration
- Ability to create a community which supports a collaborative environment focusing on colleague needs to build strong relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of talent from diverse backgrounds
- Good problem solver with the ability to think outside the box.

- Salary Range: $85,000 - $97,400 USD
