The appointment will be made at FA6 of the University of Warwick salary scale. We are looking for an exceptional and inspirational teacher who takes pride in their work. The successful candidate will be required to undertake teaching duties in the disciplinary area of Politics and International Studies. They will have the ability and willingness to act as Module Director and teach on relevant UG and PGT level modules, including but not limited to Introduction to Politics, Political Research in the 21st Century as well as specialised modules relating to Public Policy, UK Politics, or US Politics. They will also supervise dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The department recognises the importance of research to teaching practice and the successful applicant will be supported to develop their research profile within the framework of the role. About You You will possess an honours degree or equivalent, and a PhD or equivalent (awarded or near completion) in Politics and International Studies or a related discipline. You will have the ability to deliver high quality research-led teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in politics and international studies. You will have a commitment to the use and development of innovative teaching methods and e-learning techniques within the classroom.
