Strategic Operations Lead (Web3 & Payments)

About the role

Our client is seeking a Strategic Operations Lead to support the launch, scaling, and operationalization of products and initiatives across Web3, digital assets, stablecoin, and payment ecosystems. This role sits at the intersection of business, operations, product, compliance, and technology, and will play a key role in driving cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and leadership teams to support the growth of new products, services, partnerships, and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment, navigating ambiguity, influencing stakeholders, and driving outcomes across multiple workstreams. This role is best suited for individuals who enjoy building and scaling new initiatives, solving business challenges, and operating with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic and operational initiatives across Web3, digital asset, stablecoin, and payment-related business functions
• Partner closely with business, product, operations, compliance, legal, and technology teams to ensure successful execution of key initiatives
• Translate business objectives and opportunities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
• Coordinate stakeholders across internal teams and external partners, including financial institutions, payment providers, technology vendors, blockchain partners, and ecosystem participants
• Support the launch, scaling, and operationalization of new products, services, partnerships, and market initiatives
• Support the evaluation, development, and commercialization of new products, services, and business opportunities
• Identify operational gaps, process inefficiencies, and execution risks, and drive appropriate solutions
• Establish and improve operational frameworks, workflows, and governance processes where required
• Track initiative progress, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery against business objectives
• Prepare materials, updates, and recommendations for leadership discussions and decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience within Web3, digital assets, stablecoin, blockchain, crypto, payments , or fintech environments is a must
• Proven experience driving cross-functional initiatives involving business, product, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders
• Experience supporting the launch, scaling, or operationalization of products, services, or business initiatives
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and drive initiatives with limited supervision
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with evolving priorities
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
