Sr Software Engineer, Apple Cloud Networking

About the role

We're looking for passionate folks who love building super-scalable, reliable, and user-friendly systems to support one of the world's biggest cloud infrastructures. You'll be designing, building, and running new services that help lead virtualized networks, computing, and storage. Responsibilities

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, C++, Go, scripting languages, Git, and configuration management systems.
• Architectural Expertise: Experience in building scalable services, architectural design, data structures, algorithms, microservice architectures, and APIs.
• Problem-Solving and Communication: Strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, deliver on bold deadlines, and drive closures, and the ability to prioritize and debug production issues.

Requirements

• BS and MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science
• Hands-on experience in building sophisticated and fault-tolerant systems
• In-depth knowledge on networking protocols and packet forwarding architecture
• Experience in infrastructure-as-a-code and APIs
• Strong systems programming skills including multi-threading, concurrency, caching, batching
• Strong and proven record of working with multi-functional teams
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts, designs and decisions.
• Hands-on experience with large scale production systems
