- Essential Job Duties:
- Conduct assistive technology assessments and provide training for students and employees with disabilities
- Assist with data collection and analysis of ATRC interventions/ outcomes measures
- Educate units/ departments that support students and employees with disabilities in assistive technology
- Assists with community consultations.
- Participates in scholarly work such as professional presentations, grant writing, publications
- Participates in professional development/ networking with AT in higher education personnel internal and external to CSU
- Serve as a resource for assistive technology information e.g., vendors, products, services, etc.
- Salary Range
- $30-$35/hour

Job Description The Assistive Technology Resource Center (ATRC) seeks to ensure equitable access to technology and electronic information for Colorado State University students and employees with disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act and Sections 504/508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Services include assistive technology assessments and training, as well as consultation and education regarding accessibility and universal design of mainstream and instructional technologies. The context of the ATRC allows for individuals to pursue areas of interest in scholarly endeavors and values and supports professional development with the aim of providing best practice for AT service provision in higher education. Position Summary: The Assistive Technology Service Provider position works directly with employees and students with disabilities needing assistive technology services and assists the larger CSU campus with addressing barriers in the electronic/digital realm all from an Occupational Therapy lens. The position provides a variety of job duties beyond direct AT/ client services to include but not limited to: campus training of faculty and staff, relevant committee involvement, relationship building with other campus support offices, and scholarly work to include dissemination of best practice serving students with disabilities in higher education settings.
