Type of Vacancy: Salaried (Full-Time) Start Date: July 2026 Location: Remote Reports To: Director, Program Supervises: Manager(s), Program Travel: Remote with frequent travel Compensation: $90,500 to $119,381 Areas of Expertise: Instructional Design: Designing and facilitating effective and engaging professional learning experiences for educators as well as internal coaching staff. Coach Development: Developing coaches on the following skills: Facilitation of professional learning, developing goals for coaching cycles based on student data, determining and implementing coaching actions that drive toward cycle goals, using quantitative and qualitative student data to assess progress toward cycle goals and adjusting coaching in response. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Program department's primary purpose is to design, deliver, and continuously improve teacher professional learning programs that strengthen instructional practice and drive student achievement. The team's main functions include managing and implementing scopes of work with partners, providing coaching and professional learning for teachers and leaders, and creating research-based content and learning assets tailored to partner needs. The Program department contributes to Teaching Lab's mission by ensuring that every partnership drives measurable impact on teacher practice and student learning, advancing educational equity at scale. The Senior Program Manager's primary responsibility is to implement high-quality programmatic services and manage complex projects that drive impact on educator practice and student learning. Along with flex team members, system-level leaders, and cross-functional colleagues, the Senior Program Manager will also hold responsibilities in the following areas: Designing and facilitating professional learning content, services, and tools/resources Serving as a content expert and, when needed, taking on project leadership roles Managing project plans, contracts, and invoices to ensure accurate, timely delivery of services Collaborating across departments and, when applicable, supporting team members through coaching or people management The Senior Program Manager's role is a mid-level position with some management responsibilities. This role is essential to ensuring the successful delivery of programmatic goals and the long-term sustainability of Teaching Lab's partnerships. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Work Experience, and Knowledge Bachelor's degree Five (5) or more years combined experience working in PK-12 education, with a minimum of two years experience teaching PK-12 students from traditionally underserved backgrounds with demonstrated evidence of impact Three (3) or more years combined experience working with partners outside of their organization to manage workflow or deliver services Three (3) or more years of combined experience planning and implementing projects Three (3) or more years combined experience leading or coaching the implementation of HQIM (in any subject area) Deep knowledge and experience with College- and Career-Ready math or ELA content and practice standards Experience designing impactful professional learning for educators Experience facilitating impactful professional learning or coaching for educators Experience managing relationships with clients and stakeholders in an education context Experience teaching or coaching at least one of the following curricula: ELA (Ampli
