What we are looking for: Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to service patients in their homes in Eastern Nassau & Western Suffolk County. Strong Clinical Fellow applicants with experience in treating adults and dysphagia are encouraged to apply. Caseload demographics include: Aphasia, Dysphagia, School-Age (optional), Voice, Cognitive Communication Disorders, AAC use, progressive neurological conditions, etc. Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a comprehensive multidisciplinary company who offers Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy, Massage and Acupuncture services. Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible for CF Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan. Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care. Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course) What We Offer!
