About the role

The Medcan Clinic is recruiting for a licensed Chiropractor to join our high-performing and fast-growing team of practitioners within Medcan's Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation service. This is an Independent Contractor position seeking a two-day (half days) commitment with the possibility to build to full days as volume grows. The specific schedule/hours will be mutually determined and has some flexibility. We are currently hiring for the following clinic locations: York Mills (4120 Yonge Street) Markham (600 Cochrane Drive)

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based musculoskeletal conservative care.
• Demonstrate exceptional clinical care practices and professionalism
• Integrate Chiropractic services into an existing collaborative practice environment.
• Work alongside physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, massage therapists, fitness professionals and other chiropractors.
• Emphasize inter-professional collaborations through effective communication and coordinated treatment plans.

Requirements

• Chiropractic degree
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario
• Significant experience in dealing with varied orthopedic and sports injuries is an asset
• Minimum three years' experience
• Additional chiropractic specialist related qualifications are an asset
• Superior organization and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Position Pay Range
• $60 - $100/hr
