About the role
As a General Ledger Accountant, you will handle and manage the full set of books, ensure timely accounting closing and management reporting. You will be expected to do: 1. Bank Statement Management Perform daily bank statement download, analyze transactions and create journal entries for bank allocation Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliation 2. Fixed Assets Management Responsible for fixed assets creation and modification Execute month end depreciation Perform reconciliation between asset module and general ledger 3. Intercompany Management Prepare monthly Intercompany Reconciliations and data analysis Send out Intercompany confirmation forms to affiliates 4. Accruals and Prepayments Run memorized entries for existing Prepayments and Accruals Identify and analyze transactions to be appropriately posted as Accruals and Prepayments Supports Closing and Reporting activities and perform accounting procedures related to Banking, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Accruals and Prepayments. 5. Posting of month end journals entries and requests 6. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and propose adjusting entities, if any. 7. Provide audit supports and answer audit queries pertaining to processes handled 8.
