Principal Product Manager, Trip Management We're looking for a Principal Product Manager, Trip Management, to define and drive the long-term, end-to-end vision, strategy, and delivery of post-booking and trip management experiences. In this role, you will shape customer-centric trip experiences that give travellers confidence, guide them at every stage of their journey, and make Expedia an indispensable travel companion. You bring a strong platform mindset and strong AI fluency, and you will partner across Product, Design, Data, and AI/ML to turn post-booking and trip management experiences into a durable competitive advantage. You will help drive the application of AI across the product experience, drawing on a strong understanding of AI capabilities, constraints, and opportunities to shape strategy and inform decision-making, with a focus on creating seamless, intelligent, and scalable post-booking journeys. The ideal candidate combines strong product leadership, platform thinking, technical fluency, and data-driven decision-making to improve traveller engagement, reduce service friction, and drive repeat bookings. In This Role, You Will Define and drive the long-term product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Trips experience, aligning outcomes to Expedia Group's customer, brand, partner, and business objectives and turning Trip Management into a competitive differentiator. Drive measurable improvements in traveller engagement, reductions in service contacts, and repeat booking behaviour. Operate with a strong bias for action, using prototypes, experiments, and lightweight validation to learn quickly and adapt strategy as technology and customer needs evolve Use AI-powered development tools and AI-assisted coding environments to explore solutions, generate prototypes, refine requirements, accelerate documentation, and partner effectively with engineering throughout discovery and execution. Drive the evolution of Trip Management from a set of point solutions into a modular, configurable platform built on reusable capabilities and clear product/technical abstractions. Partner with Design, Research, and AI/ML teams to deliver context-aware experiences and intelligent automation. Influence senior leadership and align cross-functional priorities. Mentor product managers and elevate practices in discovery, experimentation, and outcome-driven roadmapping. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, customer-centricity, and operational excellence. Experiences & Qualifications 10+ years of product management experience, including several years at Staff, Principal, or equivalent level. Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and owning portfolios end to end. Exceptional problem-solving and systems-thinking skills, with the ability to structure ambiguity and deliver durable solutions. Experience with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows, and applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products in ways that are measurable, safe, and aligned with regulatory and organisational standards. Experience with product-level coding and rapid prototyping, using lightweight code, mock services, and interactive prototypes to validate ideas quickly, reduce ambiguity, and accelerate delivery.
