About the Position: This is a Full time Seasonal 0328 Instructor JROTC (PO, NAVY) position for Sigonella Middle/High School, located in Sigonella Sicily, Italy. Minimum Education Requirement: Petty Officer (PO) - Navy JROTC PO Instructors must hold a current certification to teach JROTC from United States Navy (USN) headquarters services department. AND Specialized Experience: Must meet one of the following pathways outlined in 10 USC 2031: Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps: A. Retired Navy Petty Officer or Navy Warrant Officer whose qualifications are approved by the Secretary and the institution concerned and who request such employment; B. Navy Petty Officer or Navy Warrant Officer who are separated with an honorable discharge within the past 5 years with at least 8 years of service and are approved by the Secretary and the institution concerned and who request such employment; or C. Navy Petty Officer or Navy Warrant Officer who are active participating members of the selected reserve at the time of application, for purposes of section 101(d) of this title, and have not yet reached retirement eligibility and are approved by the Secretary and the institution concerned and who request such employment. **Note** In the absence of qualified Navy Petty Officer or Navy Warrant Officer applicants, the program may extend eligibility to Marine Corps Non-Commissioned Officer, Marine Corps Warrant Officer, and Coast Guard Petty Officer applicants for consideration.
