About the role

We're looking for a Product Design Lead with at least 6+ years of experience to shape the next generation of our mobile and web product suite. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives at the intersection of systems thinking, end-to-end experience design, and exceptional UI craft. Someone who can elevate both the product and the design culture. This position is based in New York City, and we welcome candidates who are already in NYC or open to relocating.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and design user experiences end-to-end across mobile and web from research and strategy to polished UI delivery.

  • Define and refine user flows, interaction models, and scalable frameworks that drive clarity and cohesion.
  • Craft elegant, high-quality interfaces that balance usability, accessibility, and visual impact.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to align user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
  • Leverage user insights, analytics, and usability testing to iterate quickly and make informed design decisions.
  • Champion design excellence and consistency across the organization.
  • Actively use AI tools as a core part of your design workflow - generating interfaces, iterating through code, and going beyond surface-level use to ship faster and push what's possible.

Requirements

  • Design system expertise: Demonstrated experience in building or maintaining cross-platform systems that scale.
  • Strong UI craft: Exceptional visual sense for hierarchy, typography, motion, and layout.
  • End-to-end product design experience: Proven ability to connect research, UX strategy, and polished execution.
  • Systems thinker: Able to translate complex problems into cohesive, modular design solutions.
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe Suite and familiar with rapid prototyping tools.
  • Strong communicator: Can clearly explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Organized and reliable: Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver with consistency.
  • Experience designing for mobile (iOS/Android) or multi-platform ecosystems.
  • Experienced in design systems, startups, or fast-scaling teams.
  • Agency or consulting experience working across diverse product challenges.
