Senior Construction Manager

Our client is a globally recognised engineering and construction company with a strong presence in Singapore, delivering complex, high-value projects across advanced technology, industrial, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and high-tech manufacturing sectors. Due to continued business growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead project execution and drive successful project delivery. We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the execution of large-scale construction projects from planning through completion. You will oversee site operations, manage multidisciplinary construction teams, and work closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You have the ability to motivate teams, resolve technical and commercial challenges, and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement construction execution plans, project schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Manage site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary construction teams, site managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, productivity, and risk management initiatives.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Drive workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Identify and resolve construction, technical, and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Review project performance and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
• Mentor and develop project teams to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience , including experience leading large-scale construction projects.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
• Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations, workplace safety requirements, and industry best practices.
• Experience delivering projects within the industrial, semiconductor, pharmaceutical sectors will be highly advantageous.
