Requirements

  • Secondary or higher education; preferred degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or related area.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Planning, or Supply Chain.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong MS Office skills; advanced Excel recommended.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar).
  • Proven ability to lead processes and support team members.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Our Procurement Planning Team Leader oversees daily operations of the Procurement Planning team, ensuring effective execution of material planning and purchasing processes, high-quality service delivery, and strong collaboration with business stakeholders. The role leads a team of Specialists, provides guidance, support, coaching, and training to build expertise and ensure consistent process performance. It also ensures that raw materials, packaging, and components required for production are procured and available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at optimal cost. As a Team Leader you will drive process improvements, manage escalations, analyze data to support decision-making, identify operational gaps, and participate in the development and implementation of system solutions or process enhancements. You will works independently with limited supervision and supports the Procurement/Operations Manager with operational insights and team performance data. Location: Curie-Skłodowskiej 12 (Nobilis Business House) Work model: hybrid (Flexible Fridays) Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities: 1. Lead the Team Manage and develop the Procurement Planning team, including training, onboarding, coaching, and skills development. Set goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback. Allocate tasks, balance workload, and ensure effective prioritization and workflow management. Promote teamwork, shared knowledge, and high service standards. 2. Process Management Oversee daily Procurement Planning processes to ensure timely, accurate material availability and cost‑efficient operations. Ensure correct application of standards, procedures, and best practices across the team. Monitor MRP exceptions, supply risks, and supplier performance to ensure stable component flows. Ensure high data quality in ERP/SAP and consistent adherence to planning parameters. 3. Business Service Excellence Ensure professional, timely communication with internal stakeholders (Planning, Production, Sourcing, Finance). Address escalations or complex cases promptly and effectively. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support stability and service levels. 4. Operational Efficiency Identify inefficiencies and gaps in Procurement Planning processes and implement corrective actions. Lead or support CI initiatives to improve workflow, increase productivity, and optimize inventory performance. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. 5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Planning, Production, Sourcing, Marketing, Warehouse, R&D, Finance, and external suppliers. Support introduction of new materials, packaging transitions, and promotional activities. Provide functional requirements for system enhancements and participate in testing and implementation. 6. Reporting & Analysis Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on inventory, supplier performance, risks, and process KPIs. Present insights and recommendations to Procurement/Operations Manager. Track progress of improvement actions and team performance metrics.
