EPIC Camp Counselor

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for working with youth in grades 4-8 in a camp or educational setting.
• Interest in robotics and computing (no formal experience required).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with campers, peers, and instructors.
• Dependable, responsible, and willing to take initiative.
• Must be at least 15 years and available for all scheduled camp sessions and required training.

Working under the guidance of the camp instructor, the counselor helps facilitate activities, supervises campers, and ensures a safe learning environment. Supervise and engage with campers to ensure a safe and inclusive environment. Help with general camp organization, e.g. setup and cleanup. Support campers during hands-on activities and group projects. Communicate camper needs or concerns to the instructor as needed.
