About the role

As a (Senior) Process Development Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in advancing competitive silicon-based discrete power technologies, driving innovation from process development to industrial manufacturing. You will act as a process architect within development projects, translating product requirements into manufacturable process concepts and ensuring successful transfer into stable, automotive-qualified production. **This is your new job** - Define and integrate robust, scalable wafer fabrication flows by combining and optimizing unit processes - Own and drive end-to-end process development from concept to stable high-volume manufacturing within cross-functional projects - Ensure manufacturability and industrial readiness, including alignment with production, quality and automotive qualification requirements - Optimize and balance process performance (yield, cost, quality, robustness) to meet competitive product and manufacturing targets - Act as key technical interface between development and production, driving cross-functional alignment and sustainable solutions - Benchmark competitor technologies and derive actionable insights for technology development - Build and leverage expert networks to support technology development and continuously deepen process know-how **This is you** - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Physics or a related field - Several years of relevant experience in semiconductor process development are preferred - Solid understanding of semiconductor devices and industrial wafer fabrication processes, preferably for discrete power devices - Hands-on experience in wafer processing and related equipment - Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems in a structured and result-oriented way - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams - Strong sense of ownership and accountability for technical outcomes - Good organizational and planning skills with a structured working style - Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
