Java Developer - Oracle (SQL & PL/SQL) - Tomcat

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications .
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle Database .
• Deploy, configure, and support applications on Apache Tomcat .
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning at both application and database levels.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews , ensuring quality, security, and best practices.
• Support production environments when needed (incident analysis, root cause analysis).
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong experience with Java (Java SE / Java EE).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database , including: Advanced SQL
• PL/SQL (procedures, functions, packages, triggers)
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Apache Tomcat .
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience working with JSP, Servlets , or similar Java web technologies.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments .
• Experience with version control systems such as Git .
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot .
• Knowledge of Hibernate / JPA .
• Experience with RESTful services .
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Experience in L2/L3 production support environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Mandatory Skills: Java-J2EE .
• Experience: 3-5 Years .
