Senior Voice Engineer

Responsibilities

• Configure Teams tenant for voice - policies, dial plans, routing.
• Build lab SBC for Direct Routing validation; execute ATPs.
• Coordinate the AudioCodes SBC rack/stack/patch/onboard across 11 sites (with Park Place partner).
• Lead the Singapore Pilot site cutover and subsequent waves.
• Required experience and qualifications
• 5+ years hands-on Teams Phone / Direct Routing engineering.
• AudioCodes SBC operational experience.
• Demonstrable delivery experience in a regulated industry - financial services, government, pharmaceuticals, energy or similar - including familiarity with change control, audit and compliance constraints.
• Experience working in a large, geographically distributed global organisation, comfortable operating across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
• Experience working within a globally distributed team, collaborating effectively across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage with senior stakeholders and translate technical detail for non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid client/partner team with clear ownership boundaries.
• Technical skills
• FROM: Avaya Aura PBX across 11 sites - TO: Microsoft Teams Phone (Cloud PBX, geo-redundant).
• Direct Routing architecture with AudioCodes SBCs at each site; retention of existing PSTN numbers.
• Modern call handling, Teams Admin Center for unified policy/routing/user management.
• Compliance & recording via Verint integration through Microsoft Graph Recording API.
• Dynamic E911 for location-based emergency routing.
• Desirable
• Banking or finance experience.
• Experience in role, delivering complex, global End User transformation in a regulated industry.

Role purpose Senior engineering lead for the Avaya → Teams Phone migration - tenant configuration, lab SBC build, third-party integrations and pilot execution.
