About the role

Serves as a Program Analyst for intelligence operations within the Office of Protective Services at NASA Headquarters. The Program Analyst assists in the coordination of effective analysis, in collaboration with internal staff and other agencies, to achieve the organization's mission and support the Agency's strategic plan. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Gathering, analyzing, or assessing intelligence information and impacts and recommending alternative courses of action that will reduce risk and mitigate threats; Presenting complex or sensitive assessments, positions, or issues, and influencing stakeholders through analytical reasoning, tact, and diplomacy; Preparing intelligence reports and briefings on highly specialized and sensitive issues with significant impact to the Agency.
