THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LEAD MILITARY & FAMILY READINESS SPECIALIST-TITLE 5, Position Description Number PDT5701200 and is part of the KY J1, National Guard. ** NOTE: Indefinite employment is temporary and is expected to last more than one year but no more than five consecutive years. This appointment will not exceed 31 JUL 2031 and will not be extended without further competition. Applicants who meet the DoD Priority Placement Program Retained Grade category are eligible to apply with this preference. (See Required Documents Section) SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one (1) year experience at the next lower level in the normal line of progression through federal service (GS-09) or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates the experience and knowledge of the family readiness program and its relationship to missions, functions, organization, major issues, work processes, goals objectives and programs. Experience with analytical and evaluative techniques and methods to analyze reports, gather data, review suggestions, and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of a program. Experience and knowledge of managing, coordinating and planning family, quality-of-life or human services programs. Experience interpreting and applying regulations, policies, and guidance affecting the use of resources to plan, coordinate, implement, and manage the Family Program. Experience analyzing, evaluating and making recommendations for improvement of family, quality-of-life or human services programs. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment.
