THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEMS MECHANIC (Title 32), Position Description Number D0097000 and is part of the OK 138th Fighter Wing, Oklahoma Air National Guard. Military Grades: E-1 through E-6 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates your knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles; knowledge of troubleshooting procedures used to isolate malfunctions in aircraft pneudraulic systems; and ability to use technical manuals, equipment specifications, and test calibration procedures in performing the work. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience or training which provided a knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles. Experience in fabricating fuel, oil and vacuum hose lines. Experience in servicing, maintaining, disassembling assembling, repairing and testing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experience in diagnosing malfunctions and overhauling pneudraulic accessories by disassembling, cleaning part and examining parts. Experience in diagnosing trouble and determining remedies. Experience in repairing, rebuilding and overhauling major systems of ground equipment and pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Experience in mechanicl repairs using hand tools and test equipment. Experience that demonstrates the ability to interpret technical manuals, specifications and publications. --inspect, maintain, modify, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and test aircraft hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. -- Diagnose malfunctions and overhaul pneudraulic accessories by disassembling, and examining parts for corrosion, wear, scratches, cracks, or other damage, replacing gaskets and worn parts, reassemble accessories, and adjust and test to insure proper operation in accordance with specifications, and; -- Fabricate fuel, oil, and vacuum hose lines, and test as provided in technical orders -- Inspect and troubleshoot brake mechanisms, wing flaps, windshield wipers, pressure regulators, pumps, pressure relief valves, and other aircraft hydraulic and pneumatic accessories.
