About the role

The Maintenance & Automation Technician is a subject-matter expert in process automation with strong hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance capabilities. Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support to the Cadorago Distribution Center, focusing on the performance of slitting lines and automated packaging systems.
  • Diagnose complex technical issues and develop/execute effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead automation optimization and control system modifications across manufacturing equipment and infrastructure.
  • Manage business-critical suppliers and network with internal technical experts to share best practices.
  • Participate in local maintenance strategy, including budget input and subcontractor management.
  • Your profile:
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of successful industrial maintenance experience, preferably in the paper, slitter/rewinder, or adhesive tape industries.
  • You possess the proven ability to independently troubleshoot and repair complex electromechanical systems on highly automated machinery.
  • You have a solid understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics. Practical experience with automation networks (hardware and software). Deep knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens technology will be considered a strong plus.
  • You speak and write Italian fluently. English is a strong plus.
  • Skills you need to succeed:
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Ability to analyze technical schemes and PLC software for troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
