Reporting to the European Controller & Regulatory Reporting Manager, you will be a part of our global Finance & Accounting Team. This role combines hands-on operational tasks with governance responsibilities - you will take ownership of our daily Client money reconciliations and ensure the safeguarding of Client assets in full compliance with FCA regulations. Assist with the oversight and due diligence of Third Party Agreements (TPA) to ensure adequate systems and controls are in place to support CASS compliance, while actively flagging potential risks. Maintain an up-to-date log of CASS breaches/incidents and complete initial materiality assessments on all CASS breaches to identify those reportable to the FCA. Manage CASS regulatory reporting and compliance governance, including the accurate preparation of the monthly CMAR return and the regular review of internal policies and procedures (including periodic reviews of CASS Resolution packs). Assist the UK Financial Controller with preparing monthly CASS MI for the Risk Committee and Board meetings. Perform other ad-hoc duties/responsibilities and special projects as required to support the Finance Department. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of CASS requirements through attendance at industry forums and training events. What skillset do you need to be successful in this role? Min. 3 years of experience within a similar role in Financial Services but impact matters more than years. Demonstrate good understanding of the CASS Handbook as it applies to trading firms.
