Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance related with qualified CA, CPA
  • Minimum 7-9 years of relevant working experience in financial analysis and management reporting

Prepare and submit monthly and fortnight MIS reports as per the management requirement. Prepare actual and budgeted vessel operations expenses report to technical team and closely work with them on day to day basis for smooth operations. Closely co-ordinate with chartering team and support them for submission of tenders and follow-up on customer receivables. Liaising with the banks and lawyers for new delivery of vessels and re-flagging whenever required as per management direction. Guiding AP team and SOA team on day to day basis and ensure vessel accounts are prepared and submitted on time. Liaising with various tax authorities like GST, IRAS and Auditors on compliance matters whenever required. Ensure annual preparation, consolidation, audit and filing of financial statements as per Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for all the companies within the group. Preparation of final accounts for Audit and closely work with auditors to complete in time and submit reports to authorities in respective countries Co-ordinate with company secretaries on various secretarial matters and ensure that execution is happening on timely basis. Co-ordination with bank on various requirements and negotiate for competitive pricing. - Evaluate accounting workflows for continuous process improvement in Accounts division. Update Accounts Division Procedures and build new processes and policies in consultation with business managers and Management. Continuously identify and implement cost reduction Verify and approve suppliers' & agents' invoices Approve Month-End Journal entries.
