Application Team Leader

About the role

As an Application Team Leader you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of application developers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality outputs. What you will need to do: Lead and manage a team of application developers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality outputs. Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of business applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, product owners, and other stakeholders, to align technology solutions with business objectives. Establish coding standards, processes, and best practices within the team. Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope and budget. Perform regular performance evaluations and identify areas for skill development within the team. Handle resource planning, allocation, and capacity management. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies when appropriate. Travel: Required, IT Project Based. What you will need to have: BSc in Business, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers. Strong understanding of application architecture, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and project management. Very good command (written and oral) of the English language.
