Senior/ Staff Nurse (Labour & Delivery)

About the role

Be a part of the Nursing team in our hospitals - Gleneagles Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital (Orchard), Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital and Parkway East Hospital. Key accountabilities Manage and plan the care management of individual patient using the 4-prong Systematic Approach to Nursing Delivery comprising Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation. Assist the Nurse Manager to set short & long-term goals for the unit. Participate in action plans for the unit to enhance employee engagement and maximize employee performance. Maintain current trends in nursing practice and management through formal education and self-development. Participate in physician rounds & collaborate with physician and members of healthcare team to ensure continuity of patient care and follow through of treatment plans. Demonstrate competency in nursing core & special skills. Supervise junior nursing personnel in providing quality nursing care. Monitor and assess junior nurses' competency progression and performance. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Perform duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager. Qualifications & Experience SNB Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate Diploma In Nursing /Degree Qualification / Advance diploma in Midwifery Positive work attitude and meticulous in care of maternity mother during delivery At least 2 - 4 years' experience as Senior Staff Nurse 2. Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures, knowledge of current trends in nursing practice. Demonstrate accurate and factual nursing documentation in EHR Excellent interpersonal skills. Good customer service skills. Good telephone etiquette.
