Within PMG, the Investment Strategist Team is the client facing side of PMG, specifically focused on partnering with the organization's sales teams (RVPs) and interacting with the firm's most sophisticated clients with complex investment portfolios across public and private markets. Investment Specialists support the firm's Sr. Investment Strategists and report to the Sr. Director, Investment Strategy . Investment Specialists provide sales and analytical support to Sr. Investment Strategists, who are the senior investment thought leaders across the organization and client-facing representatives of the organization with its largest and most sophisticated prospective and new-to-firm clients (Ascend and Regis segments). Specifically, Investment Specialists support Sr. Investment Strategists as they deliver expert insights to internal sales teams, prospective clients, and new-to-firm clients across the firm's investment philosophy, processes, and platform. The Investment Strategist Team is highly visible across the organization, and the Investment Specialist role provides excellent opportunity for career acceleration and advancement to many areas within the company including client-facing Portfolio Management and other business partner positions. Essential Job Functions for this role include: Core Function Provide leverage to Sr. Investment Strategists and scale their investment thought-leadership and expert insights across sales channel with prospective client opportunities, new-to-firm clients, and internal business partners (RVPs, advisors, planning/tax/estate strategists, etc.). Analyze prospective client investment portfolios and create customized portfolio illustrations incorporating the firm's investment philosophy and robust investment platform through guidance from Sr. Investment Strategist. Develop thorough understanding of the firm's investment platform and philosophy and provide Sr. Investment Strategists with the most relevant portfolio and market insights to prepare for sales presentations and industry events. Represent Sr. Investment Strategist in key business partner and asset manager meetings, with opportunity to participate in prospective and new-to-firm client meetings with proven success. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 3-5 years investment professional experience preferred, ideally in an independent wealth management firm, RIA, or similar firm. Excel in a fast-paced environment, requiring entrepreneurial mindset and ability to deliver on multiple time-sensitive projects daily with a high attention to detail. Comprehensive understanding of public markets, portfolio design, complex investment vehicles, and investment models. Ability to communicate effectively and frequently with multiple stakeholders working remotely. Strong quantitative skills required. Familiarity with alternative investments and quantitative, factor-based investing preferred. Advanced skills in Excel required, working knowledge of YCharts, Morningstar, and Emoney a plus. CFA Charter or CAIA a plus Series 65 required (Or attained within 3 months of start date), unless otherwise exempt due to attainment of other professional designations (CFA, CFP, etc.) Work Schedule: This professional role requires availability during standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM.
