Responsibilities

Ensures that company standard procedures are followed in connection with purchases of material and services
Analyze demand patterns, sales trends, and inventory levels across stores to effectively replenish stock and minimize stockouts and excess inventory
Actively manage inventory across locations, including transfers, rebalancing, and resolution of shortages impacting customer orders
Follows up and maintains current and accurate database information, vendor lead times, open purchases, commitments and shortages

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Administrative, Business, Liberal Arts or Social Sciences
2-4 years of experience as a buyer/purchasing
Advanced user of Excel Pivot Tables, Microsoft Suite
Experience working in MRP, ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle)
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced high volume environment
Ability to respond with urgency to resolve supply issues and support internal stakeholders
Travel to stores for store inventory- 2-3 times a year with potential to do more
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
HVAC Industry knowledge a plus
