Job Description Summary As Senior Commercial Operation Manager you will be responsible for managing the business with customers associated with OEM engines, both in Equipment and in Service segments. You will develop negotiation strategies and foster a positive team mindset to secure contracts successfully. Lead the offer and negotiation team, driving cross-functional collaboration to address customer needs and achieve GE Avio's business objectives. Conduct commercial risk assessments, ensure compliance with GE Avio policies and procedures, and obtain necessary internal approvals for customer negotiations. Customer Relationship Management. Build strong and mutually beneficial relationships with customers by understanding their needs, capturing their voice, and effectively communicating insights to GE Avio stakeholders. Proactively identify solutions to customer challenges, provide actionable recommendations, and leverage internal and external resources to strengthen trust in Avio Aero. Develop the skills and capabilities of the team. Motivate and inspires them to drive daily activities and operating rhythm applying FLIGHT DECK® principles, identifying best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Contribute to the development of strategies for business growth with customers, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Leverage strong relationships to create innovative business perspectives and compelling value propositions. Conduct detailed analyses, prepare budgets, and provide forecasts to report on the health and performance of account business internally. Apply FLIGHT DECK® lean operating model principles in daily activities to identify best practices and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or in Business Administration Previous experience in sales, commercial, procurement, and/or program role(s) in an international environment is considered a plus High commercial judgement, business acumen and knowledge of business best practices and differentiation factors versus competition Good autonomy, ownership and decision making with the ability to adjust priorities in a moving environment Comprehensive knowledge of proposal development and management, financial & business concepts, negotiation best practices, processes and procedures Fluent both English and Italian Work Visa, in accordance with local regulations, is required Desired characteristics Proven experience in the aerospace industry Thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment, with tight deadlines and high expectations Industry and product knowledge: understanding of the aerospace industry and dynamics and familiarity with turboprop engines Strong oral and written communication skills with proven persuasion abilities Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus cross-functionally Demonstrated ability to lead projects.
