Transport Route Planning and Efficiency Manager

About the role

We're looking for a Transport Route Planning & Efficiency Manager to take ownership of routing strategy, fleet utilisation and transport performance across a national operation. This is a key role focused on improving how transport runs day to day. You'll use data, systems and increasingly AI-led tools to drive smarter planning, reduce cost and improve service delivery at scale. You'll work closely with operational sites, transport teams and senior leadership to bring consistency, visibility and measurable improvements across the network. You'll lead the development and ongoing improvement of transport planning and optimisation across the UK network. This includes everything from route design and forecasting through to system capability, automation and performance reporting. The aim is simple: make transport more efficient, more predictable and easier to scale.
