Responsibilities
- Check safety standards and systems, and suggest improvements where needed
- Work with the Marine Manager to make sure vessels meet international maritime standards
- Help finalise commercial agreements with charter parties

Requirements
- Class 1 Certificate of Competency, with at least a Diploma in Maritime Studies or a related field
- At least 2 years of shore based experience in ship management or with a shipowner, preferably in tankers
- Good technical knowledge of vessel operations, and comfortable using MS Office
- Strong communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team, with a results driven attitude
