About this role Business Unit Overview: Iberia is strategically important for BlackRock in EMEA, with large client relationships across Institutional and Wealth. The Iberia team of around 50 staff is working with a sophisticated client base across Pension funds, Insurance companies, Banks, Wealth Managers and Distribution platforms. The Iberia organisation also is the home of BlackRock Netherlands B.V., which is one of BlackRock's key legal entities for Europe after Brexit. The Iberia COO team is responsible for business management, strategy and analytics for Spain and Portugal client businesses. The team engages with the leaders of each client business to drive key initiatives and work closely with internal stakeholders, including Investments, Corporate Strategy, Finance, Marketing, and Sales to ensure consistent messaging and clear coordination of critical projects internally. Furthermore, it is responsible for the operation and administration of Spain, and for monitoring performance results, allocation of resources and implementing metrics-driven sales execution to manage our business. Position Overview The role of the Administrative Professional is to provide support as Assistant to members of the Iberia leadership team based in Madrid including the country manager.
