J ob Su m m ary: The Technician II Electronics works under close direction/supervision and is responsible to test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production of electronic or mechanical products, parts, equipment and systems, such as computer equipment, instrumentation, digital / analog, electronic products, test equipment, electro-mechanical products, applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, and electronic testing. Essen t i a l F unc t ions: Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering instructions to perform testing on electronic and mechanical units in accordance with all applicable specifications. Perform automated and manual testing using equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, ICT, flying probe, vibe, burn‑in, and thermal‑cycle systems; maintain logs and documentation of test results. Calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot units using electrical and mechanical measurements and calculations for voltage, resistance, current, impedance, flow, and mechanical dimensions. Create detailed non‑conformance reports, document failures, conduct initial root‑cause investigations, and collaborate with engineering for resolution. Support CBS initiatives (5S, KPIs, Standard Work) and follow all OSHA and company safety practices while remaining flexible to support overtime needs. Test higher‑complexity units under supervision and perform additional tasks assigned by management. Non-Essential Functions: Support customer visits Support internal and external audits Perform minimal work under a microscope or soldering Minim u m Q u a l i f i c a ti ons: Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent educational experience Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of methods and procedure in troubleshooting, circuitry or mechanical characteristics as related to area of assignment and ability to devise and adapt; Familiarity with product flow through a manufacturing or repair environment; Working knowledge of computer systems Skills: Good oral expression and comprehension (communicate through speech so others will understand and listen to and understand information and ideas presented through speech); Good written expression and comprehension (communicate in English through writing so others will understand and read and understand information and ideas presented in English through writing) Abilities: Ability to learn new test software and equipment and to identify abnormal conditions in equipment and product; Manual and finger dexterity (ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects); Ability to make precisely coordinated movements; Ability to work in multiple software systems, including time enter, data enter, on-line training PDM and MRP systems Education/Certification: AA degree in Electronic or Mechanical Technology, or equivalent knowledge through experience or other recognized educational institution Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
