Responsibilities

  • Understanding of frontend/backend design patterns and web performance optimization.
  • Exposure to cloud-based architectures (Azure, GCP, or AWS preferred).
  • Experience contributing to system migrations or modernizations is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to emerging technologies like GenAI.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • Build Modern UI Components
  • Develop key features of the new manager experience in React Native, targeting shared deployment across web and mobile platforms.
  • Support Migration from Legacy System
  • Assist with converting key workflows from the legacy JSP-based GTA Portal into the new architecture with enhanced usability and performance.
  • Apply Container Strategy and Standards
  • Use Walmart's container architecture to ensure alignment with platform best practices and integration guidelines.
  • Promote Code Quality and Automation
  • Write clean, testable code and contribute to automated test coverage and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to GenAI Adoption
