Responsibilities
- Install water heaters, boilers, water supply lines, drain and sewer lines, gas lines, and other residential plumbing systems and equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and local codes.
- Maintain jobsite safety, organization, and team productivity
- Use various plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, monometers, etc.)
- Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
- Lead and mentor plumbing apprentices by providing training, assigning tasks, monitoring performance
- Document details on all calls including estimates and recommendations
- Complete all tasks per company quality and safety standards
- Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years of residential plumbing installation experience
- Previous experience as residential plumber
- Experience with re-pipes, drain/sewer systems, water heaters, and residential plumbing installations
- Knowledge of boiler piping, circulator pumps, expansion tanks, and zone valves preferred
- Proficient with PEX, copper, PVC, ABS, and cast iron piping
- Knowledge of local plumbing and mechanical codes
- Journeyman license is a plus
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work cohesively with team members, apprentices, and management
- Strong communication and professionalism with customers and team members
