  • This position implements program activities under the direct supervision of Lead Teacher(s) and assists the Lead Teachers (further referred to as "Teacher" in this PD) in providing developmentally appropriate care and early education to children of Staff, Faculty, and Students of the University by:

  • CDA or equivalent or,
  • Associate degree or higher in any field or,
  • 60 hours of college-level coursework in any field
  • Interest in working in an environment with young children is required
  • Must have strong relationship and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently, communicate effectively and respectfully to children, families and colleagues and show flexibility and open mindedness
  • Basic computer/technology experience required.
  • Experience working in a high-quality early childhood program preferred.

  • The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
  • $17.95 - $26.84
  • Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
