Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of fixed asset accounting records globally.
  • Review Capital Authorization requests and ensure correct classification of Capital vs Expense as per accounting policy, Check Capitalize Interest applicability for capital projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Commerce
  • Core Fixed Asset Accounting or equivalent accounting experience (2+ years)
  • Working experience of SAP; experience in SAP-Fixed Asset Module preferred
  • Required Skills
  • Proficient through job training and experience to perform tasks with limited supervision
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP Fixed Asset module preferred)
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills; Fluent in written and verbal English

About this role As a CPAM Accounting Associate you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of fixed asset records and supporting global end-to-end fixed asset accounting operations. You will need to be able to demonstrate technical and process expertise in managing asset transfers, sales, and disposals between entities; initiating and managing Asset Verification activities according to company policy; various aspects of fixed asset accounting and adherence to established accounting policies. In this role, you will require understanding of key business drivers for your discipline and function. You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to your discipline or functional area. It is your responsibility to use technical experience, established practices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance impacts the quality of your own work and your team's work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.
